Improving vocational education and training: overview of reform of the Danish vocational education system
A reform of the Danish vocational education and training [VET] programs will be put into effect from 1 August 2015. This reform will give the VET programs a lift, making future skilled workers even more competent and is aimed at improving quality of programs in many areas so that more young people choose the VET path. The reform agreement has established overall objectives that will be translated into measurable result targets for monitoring the development of VET programs at central level and at school level.
